| The 1841 census lists Adam living at 23 Portlogan Village with wife Susan & family. James was at 48 Portlogan Village. There is also a Mary Palmer at 1 Alton. I'm not sure if Mary is related. The census lists the Susan's as Shusan's. Adam's marriage certificate lists his birth place as St Andrews parish. This is the less common name for Ballyhalbert parish, which is on the east coast of Ireland, in Down County, and is on the Irish sea |

A Susan Mean gave birth to John Palmer abt 1820, fathered by Andrew Palmer (IGI Christening 17 Sep 1820)
